These two are listed in no particular order.
- The Tim Ferriss Podcast – I, Shreya, have been listening to them while running/working out. Apparently, this makes me a bro, BRO. I’m alright with this. I find it really interesting to hear about people’s perspectives on life and business (even if I don’t always agree with them!). I also enjoy hearing people’s stories. Some of my favorite episodes so far have been Chris Sacca, Derek Sivers, Seth Godin, Richard Betts, and the most recent “live” ones with Shaun White, Kaskade, and Sekou Andrews.
- The Way of Life App – habits are important. This app allows you to track three habits that you would like to change. Colin, for instance, is using it to track meditation, exercise, and one other thing that I can’t remember. I, on the other hand, used to be an avid reader. Somewhere between college/law school, I stopped reading as voraciously…and then stopped reading at all. I’d like to change that. Specifically, I’d like to stop playing with my phone mindlessly and use that time to read instead. Unfortunately, I can’t use “Way of Life” because my iOS is too old and I refuse to update it. I am using an old school approach instead:And the statement is true! For instance, I forgot a comma after “Read.” Colin doesn’t approve of my use of profanity and I’ve heard that profanity is the linguistic crutch of inarticulate people; however, seeing this makes me smile. Mark Twain once asserted that swearing provides relief denied even to prayer, and I must agree.
And that’s it for now!
